<p>The disclosure of the present technique addresses the problem of providing an information processing device in which a recording process can be performed in an efficient manner. In order to resolve the problem, there is provided a method for controlling an information processing device having a controller for executing recording corresponding to recording schedule information, wherein the controller receives the recording schedule information for executing recording, executes recording corresponding to the recording schedule information, and detects the presence of a user through use of a sensor connected to the information processing device; and in an instance in which the presence of a user is detected, outputs, to a display, message information asking whether or not to execute recording corresponding to the recording schedule information.</p> |
