PURPOSE: A system for notifying weight limit of an elevator is provided to solve indoor congestion in places where many people use and to save electricity consumed to start again after unnecessarily stopping. CONSTITUTION: A system for notifying weight limit of an elevator comprises a sensor locating inside an elevator. The sensor detects the weight of passengers. Using the sensor, the number of kilograms remained to the weight limit is indicated in an electronic display board locating in the outside to indicate the number of floors and is indicated from a point when the weight of passengers is over the half of the entire weight limit.
