Process for manufacturing a profiled element (160) made of a thermally insulating composite material comprising a step of injecting a two-component thermoset matrix into an injection box where continuous natural fibre rovings (115) circulate and - a step (305 and 335 to 345) of drawing the continuous natural fibre rovings (115) in order to polymerize the two-component matrix. In some embodiments, during the injection step, the content of natural fibres is adapted so that the composite material has a conductivity of less than 0.30. In some embodiments, the process comprises a step of twisting the continuous natural fibre rovings (115) before the coating step. Preferably, during the twisting step, a number of turns per metre of between 10 and 30 is transmitted to the continuous natural fibre rovings (115).
|
