SLIDING BEARING CAPABLE OF PREVENTING IMPURITIES FROM PENETRATING INTO CONNECTING ROD BEARING

PURPOSE: A sliding bearing is provided to prevent impurities from penetrating into a connecting rod bearing while increasing pressure of lubricant in an oil slot of a main hole. CONSTITUTION: A sliding bearing(4) is a part of an engine(1). The sliding bearing(4) supports a crank shaft(3) in such a manner that the crank shaft(3) slidably moves in a predetermined direction. The sliding bearing(4) is fixed to a cylinder block(2) by means of a cap(5). The cylinder block(2) is formed with two lubricant paths(6) in order to feed a lubricant between the crank shaft(3) and the sliding bearing(4). The sliding bearing(4) includes an upper division bearing(8) having a semicircular shape and a lower division bearing(9) having a semicircular shape.
