<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate for a solar cell capable of improving a surface grade, and having excellent devitrification resistance. <P>SOLUTION: This glass substrate for a solar cell contains as a glass composition in terms of mass%, 30-70% SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 3-20% Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-10% B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-10% MgO, 0-10% CaO, 0-25% SrO, 0-25% BaO, 0-10% Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, 0-10% K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O and 0-8% ZrO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and has a thermal expansion coefficient at 30-380°C of 50-95×10<SP POS="POST">-7</SP>/°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
