<p>Disclosed are a projector and a stereoscopic imaging system for same. The projector comprises a polarizing filter (502), said polarizing filter (502) comprising a polarizing plate (50231), a first conducting layer (50232), a liquid crystal layer (50233), a second conducting layer (50234) and a quarter wave plate (50235), and produces polarized image signal beams at a frequency alternating according to a preset rate, e.g., 120 frames per second. The polarized image signal beams are projected onto a screen through a projector lens (503). Viewers receive the left eye frames and right eye frames alternatingly through the left and right lenses of polarized glasses, and thus view stereoscopic images from a single projector.</p> |
