DIALOGUE STATE ESTIMATING DEVICE, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a state of sympathy among a plurality of dialogists or a state of expression of each dialogist.

SOLUTION: A visual line state detecting section 29 detects states of visual lines of a plurality of dialogists. An initial value setting section 31 sets an initial value of a parameter of a dialogue model, and also sets an initial value of the state representing the sympathy among the plurality of dialogists and an initial value of the state representing the expression of each dialogist. A state sampling section 32 determines the state representing the sympathy among the plurality of dialogists and the state representing the expression of each dialogist according to the dialogue mode. A parameter sampling section 33 determines the parameter of the dialogue model. A settlement determination section 34 causes the state sampling section 32 and the parameter sampling section 33 to repeat the respective processes till satisfying predetermined settling conditions. An estimation value calculation section 35 estimates the state representing the sympathy among the plurality of dialogists and the state representing the expression of each dialogist.
