PURPOSE: An automatic onion peeling apparatus capable of obtaining a compact structure is provided to automatically cut the stalk and root of onion, and to prevent the damage on the onion. CONSTITUTION: An automatic onion peeling apparatus comprises the following: a main body unit(10) including plural mounting holes(11) for mounting onion, and a turn-table(15) rotating by a motor; a cutting unit(20) cutting upper and lower sides of the onion; a scratch unit(30) forming cuts on the outer skin of the onion; a peeling unit(40) including an air spraying nozzle(45) for peeling the outer skin of the onion; a discharging unit(50) including a shoot(51) for discharging the onion; a fixing cylinder(21) pressing and supporting the upper and lower sides of the onion; cutting blades cutting the upper and lower sides of the onion ; a cutting cylinder(22) transferring the torque to the cutting blades; an ascending cylinder separating the onion from the turn-table; a fixing rod(32) pressing and supporting the onion; fingers(33) including blade rollers(35); and a descending cylinder(34) descending the fingers for cutting the outer skin of the onion. |
