EXHAUST PIPE AND METHOD FOR MANUCATURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An exhaust pipe and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize the interference of exhaust gas discharged from the runners of exhaust manifold. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust pipe comprises a body and one ore more runner pipes(15). The body is formed while the edge(11a) of an upper cell(11) and the edge(12a) of a lower cell(12) are connected. The runner pipe is installed between the upper and lower cells in a longitudinal direction. The runner pipe comprises a discharge path. Mounting grooves(11b) are formed on the adjacent inner surfaces between the upper and lower cells. A part of the outer circumference of the runner pipe is inserted into the mounting grooves, and welded. The runner pipe is connected to the center of the upper and lower cells.
