PURPOSE: A method for providing character of an online game and a device thereof are provided to supply a hidden ability value and increase a skill ability value bout a season character, thereby controlling a whole ability value of the season character. The character provision device controls skill ability value of the season character higher than a general character corresponding to the skill character(S120).
