PURPOSE: An electronic dictionary terminal and a searching method thereof are provided to compare dictionary information about a keyword by supplying a UI(User Interface) for displaying dictionary information on a sub screen. CONSTITUTION: A main screen(106) displays dictionary information about a search keyword. A search button requests display of dictionary information. If a searching button is operated, a controller(130) divides the main screen into a plurality of sub screens and displays dictionary information on the divided sub screen. The controller divides the sub screen according to the number of dictionary information which the search keyword supplies.
