<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of amusing a player by sufficiently utilizing the performance of restarting pattern variation. <P>SOLUTION: To a demonstration pattern 80 displayed on a display screen, an additional pattern 81 which does not report a big winning only by itself is attached. Even when the demonstration patterns 80 are not turned to a ready-to-win state, since the pattern variation is restarted when the specified pattern of matching the additional patterns 81 at "1", "2" or "3" is provided, there is the possibility of reporting the big winning even when the ready-to-win state is not attained. Also, depending on the kind of the matched additional patterns 81, the form of the pattern variation to be restarted thereafter is made different.
