PURPOSE: A lens with a cross section including an extended conic section and a design method thereof are provided to be applied to various optical lenses including a laser pickup lens, a vehicle head lamp lens, a spot light lens. CONSTITUTION: A lens(200) has a cross section(210). The cross section includes a curve to satisfy a predetermined equation. The cross section has a rotational symmetry shape with respect to an optical axis. The cross section includes curves(211,212). The curves satisfy the predetermined equation. |
