PURPOSE: An education modular robot with a detachable hub mechanism is provided to simplify a network topology, and to control a plurality of sensor and actuator modules. CONSTITUTION: An education modular robot with a detachable hub mechanism comprises a robot controller module(100), a reformation hub module(200), a sensor module(300), an actuator module(400). The reformation hub module comprises a communications unit and an interface to selectively connect the sensor module and the actuator module. The sensor module is connected to the robot controller module by the reformation hub module, and controlled by the robot controller module. The actuator module is connected to the robot controller module by the reformation hub module, and controlled by the robot controller module.
