PURPOSE: A UI test apparatus of a terminal device and a method thereof are provided to evaluate the performance of a UI on a display screen by analyzing video information which photographs a display screen varied by an event. CONSTITUTION: An event generator(100) offers an event to a terminal equipped with a display screen. A continuous photographing unit(400) photographs a display screen varied by the event. An analyzing unit(600) analyzes video information obtained by the continuous photographing unit and evaluates the performance of a UI(User Interface) on the display screen. The continuous photographing unit includes a high speed camera. The analyzing unit analyzes the variation of motion and evaluates the performance of the UI.
