<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of accurately judging a sleep state on the basis of a heart rate. <P>SOLUTION: The time sequential data of the heart rate are frequency-analyzed to obtain the time sequential data of the power spectrum of LF/HF, and the point of time at which the temporary rising change of the value appears in the time sequential data of the power spectrum of the LF/HF is judged as a falling sleep predictive period. That is, the characteristic signal of the LF/HF generated in the period immediate before falling sleep (falling sleep predictive period) is used as a judgement index, and the falling sleep predictive period is more easily and clearly judged than before. Since the heart rate can be easily measured by a small-sized electrocardiogram meter, it is easily measured in a household or the like as well, not to mention a laboratory or a hospital. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
