PURPOSE: A toilet seat with a rack gear is provided to improve manufacturing and assembling efficiencies because of a simplified inner structure and to prevent current leak and malfunction by excluding the use of electricity. CONSTITUTION: A toilet seat with a rack gear comprises an operation guide unit(100), a flush operation unit(200'), and a flushing water amount control unit(300). The operation guide unit leads a power transmission gear(220) of the flush operation unit to idle and engage with a rack gear(120) when the toilet seat(10) presses a seat spring(130) by the load of a user and moves to the upside of a toilet body. The flush operation unit restores the toilet seat by the restoring force of the seat spring when the user leaves the toilet seat, opens an opening and closing valve by a flush wire pulled with a wire roller(240) rotated according to the rotation of the power transmission gear engaged with the rack gear, discharges water of a pressure chamber of a flush valve through the opened opening and closing valve, and flush the toilet by supplying tap water. The flush water amount control unit adjusts the restoring time of the toilet seat by the seat spring, thereby controlling the amount of cleaning water drained through a drainage.
