PURPOSE: A food containing jujube, ginger, Cinnamomi Cortex, Lycii Fructus, and Schizandrae Fructus is provided to control blood glucose and to ensure excellent functionality. CONSTITUTION: A food for controlling blood glucose contains jujube, ginger, Cinnamomi Cortex, Lycii Fructus, Schizandrae Fructus, yacon, blueberry, mulberry sap and chitosan as an active ingredient. The food is liquid tea. A method for manufacturing a food for controlling blood glucose comprises: a step of extracting jujube, ginger, Cinnamomi Cortex, Lycii Fructus, Schizandrae Fructus, yacon, and blueberry with water; a step of concentrating the extract; and a step of adding mulberry sap or chitosan to the concentrate.
