PURPOSE: A BOP handling device and method of a drillship is provided to enable the convenient design and installation of a drill ship because additional drive unit and rail are not required. CONSTITUTION: A BOP handling device(100) of a drillship comprises a BOP crane(110), a leg(120), and first and second guide units(140,150). The BOP crane is horizontally moved along rails(130) and moves a BOP assembly(200) in vertical and horizontal directions. The leg is connected to the BOP crane. The first guide unit is connected to the top of the leg and guides an LMRP(Lower Marine Riser Package)(210). The second guide unit is connected to the bottom of the leg and guides a BOP(220).
