<p>A swinging flap type water wheel electric power generating apparatus has a rotating shaft 4 for transmitting motive power to a power generator 30, a rotor 1 fixed to the rotating shaft 4, and impeller blades 10 provided on the outer periphery of the rotor 1 to receive a flow of fluid for rotating the rotor 1. There is an inclined fluid guide plate 24 guiding fluid to the bottom half of the wheel. The impeller blades 10 are rotatably disposed on the rotor 1, and have a fluid receiving part 12 and a stopper part 11 shorter than the fluid receiving part 12. The rotor has a sealed hollow frame body 41 with a sealed gas chamber 40, so that the rotor is approximately neutrally buoyant.</p> |
