PURPOSE: A tab tape and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove foreign substances by removing a Cu layer or a metal layer on a sprocket hole part during assembling panels. CONSTITUTION: A tap tape includes a wiring pattern and a metal planting layer. The wiring pattern and the metal planting layer are formed on a base film(110). The tap tape includes output and input circuit patterns(130,140), an inner lead area(120) and a transfer area(X) with a sprocket hole(150). The tap tape includes an exposure area exposing the base film.
