The method involves introducing a planar reservation i.e. paperboard disk (9), in a concrete foundation pile (1) at depth corresponding to a cut-off level (2b) of the pile. The reservation is arranged to create mechanical resistance brittleness in a section of the pile when the pile is cured, where the pile is made of material such as reinforced concrete (2). A plane of the reservation is perpendicular to a vertical axis (d) of the pile. The reservation is provided in the shape of wafer and placed centrally in the pile. An independent claim is also included for a device for cutting-off a pile from a casting in a hole of concrete material.
