<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an increase in tire mass, while maintaining cut resistance and maneuvering stability. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire includes a tread part, sidewall parts 3 and bead parts. A projection part 17 projecting from a sidewall reference outer surface 16 is formed in at least one sidewall part 3. The projection part 17 includes a plurality of rib-like parts 18 extending longitudinally long in the tire radial direction at an angle α1 of 0-20 degrees to the tire radial direction, and a low projection part 19 arranged between the adjacent rib-like parts 18. The rib-like part 18 is 0.5-7.0 mm in a maximum height L1 from the sidewall reference outer surface 16.
