<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a candle and a wick thereof that enable stable formation of flame and to provide a lamp that uses the candle. <P>SOLUTION: A wick (4) of a candle (2) has air permeability and has a tip part (9) formed to taper off. The inside of the tip part (9) is made hollow and wax (6) is disposed outside the tip part (9) and a through hole (12) is formed at the top thereof. A wick cover (5) formed of a material having thermal conductivity with vent holes (15) is provided between the outside of the tip part (9) of the wick (4) and the wax (6). A candle holder (3) has a tip holding part (16) holding the tip part (9) of the wick (4) formed to taper off. The inside of the tip holding part (16) is made hollow and a communication hole (20) is formed at the top of the tip holding part (16). A ventilation path (22) leading to the through hole (12) at the top of the wick (4) is formed between the tip holding part (16) and the inside of the tip part (9) of the wick (4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
