An imaging device comprising: a lens position control unit (14) that controls the position of a lens unit (11) lens; a lens position acquisition unit (15) that obtains the lens position in a focused state when imagining a first image during three-dimensional imaging; an optimum parallax calculation unit (16) that calculates the optimum parallax for the distance between the imaging device and the photographic subject on the basis of the obtained lens position; an imaging location suggestion unit (17) that suggests the position where optimum parallax can be obtained as the second imaging location; and a record control unit (13) that controls the imaging of the first image and the second image.
