VARIABLE VALVE TIMING DISTRIBUTION ADJUSTING DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR IMPROVING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES THEREOF

A variable valve timing distribution adjusting device and a method for improving mechanical properties thereof are disclosed. The method includes an electrochemical surface treatment on components (1, 2) of a relative rotational structure of the device, so that a surface oxidation covering film is formed on the surface of the components (1, 2). Thus, not only surface hardness and wear-resisting property of the components (1, 2), but also heat resistance and corrosion resistance thereof are improved, so as to prolong its working life. Furthermore, a large quantity of micropores which can absorb different lubricants are formed on the surface of the components (1, 2) during the electrochemical surface treatment, so as to reduce frictional resistance.
