FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of articles from albronze. It may be used for making antifriction parts operated as-lubed and in half-dry friction at medium and heavy loads. Mix is produced from copper and aluminium powders, billet is compacted and sintered in combustion mode. Inductor is used to heat said billet to mix ignition temperature of 400-500C uniformly over its entire volume, or in scanning mode. Inductor and/or compacted billet are displaced relative to each other.
