<p>Provided are: an ultrasonic wave inspection device for pipes, capable of moving a probe smoothly inside a pipe, accurately positioning the probe inside the pipe, and inspecting pipe damage; and an ultrasonic wave inspection method for pipes. Said device has: an inspection probe unit housing the probe that transmits ultrasonic waves and receives echo waves from the ultrasonic waves and a mirror that reflects the ultrasonic waves transmitted from the probe towards a pipe to be inspected and reflects the echo waves from the pipe to be inspected towards the probe; a data processing unit that processes inspection data for the pipe to be inspected, on the basis of the ultrasonic waves transmitted by the probe and the echo waves received by the probe; and a centering member having a holding section that holds the inspection probe section, and has disposed on one side of the outer circumference thereof a magnet that attracts an internal pipe wall in the pipe to be inspected and a traveling wheel that travels along the pipe wall of the pipe to be inspected.</p> |
