<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit and a lighting structure of a charging connector taking little space. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting unit 8 is made by covering an LED 17 with a translucent housing 20, as well as covering that 20 with a non-translucent cover 21. The lighting unit 8 includes a lock convex part 30 at the translucent housing 20 as well as a lock hole part 44 at the non-translucent cover 21, as an insertion-coupling part. Further, the lighting unit 8 forms the lock convex part 30 at a part with translucency, and makes the LED 17 arranged in conformity with a position of the lock convex part 30. The lighting unit 8 also uses the insertion-coupling part as a light guide part of light 11. The lighting structure of the charging connector 1 works by illuminating a receiving-side connector 3 with the light 11 transmitting the lock convex part 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
