<p>Processing machine comprises a cleaning device for contact-free removal of impurities from a cylinder surface of a cylinder (6). At least one laser beam generating laser generator (12) is provided and the laser beam is directed towards the cylinder surface to be cleaned. The cleaning device has an extraction device which absorbs the impurities removed by a laser beam from the cylinder surface to be cleaned. The laser generator is connected to a distribution system (11). The distribution system is connected with many optical fibers. The cleaning head is moved back and forth axially parallel to the cylinder surface to be cleaned. An independent claim is also included for operating a processing machine, comprising providing at least one laser generator generating a laser beam, directing laser beam towards the cylinder surface to be cleaned, generating at least one laser beam in the laser generator, supplying at least one laser beam from the laser generator to a distribution system (11) and from where it is distributed to many optical fibers (10) and supplied to each of a cleaning head of the cleaning device. The laser beam is fed on the respective rotationally driven cylinder surface after using the cleaning optics at the respective cleaning head. The impurities are removed from the cylinder surface in parallel by the laser beam. The thermal remote contaminants, which are skipped in the gaseous phase, can be extracted by the extraction device.</p> |
