<p>Aqueous dispersions (I) with no fluorine or N-methylol compounds, comprising (A) a copolymer of (a) a 10-24C (preferably 16-22C) alkyl (meth)acrylate, (b) styrene or alpha -methylstyrene, (c) vinylidene and/or vinyl chloride and optionally (d) 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl and/or glycidyl (meth)acrylate, (B) paraffin wax with a melting range of 58-80 (preferably 65-75) [deg] C, and (C) dispersant(s), preferably a cationic dispersant or a mixture of cationic and non-ionic dispersant.
