<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus equipped with a battery deterioration prevention function for preventing user's unintended charge by providing a charge start determination at the time of charge start via a USB. <P>SOLUTION: A VBUS detection part 101 determines that a USB device is connected to a USB connection part 100. A USB control part 102 monitors a state of a D+/D- terminal of the USB connection part 100 and determines whether or not the connected USB device is a device dedicated for charge. A switch (SW) 106 switches whether or not an electric power from the USB device connected to the USB connection part 100 is supplied to a charge control part 105.
