Disclosed are a method, a terminal device, and a system for user experience statistics. The method comprises: acquiring dynamic handover information, the dynamic handover information at least comprising one of a dynamic handover reason in a process of playing a medium, a medium quality identifier of the medium after handover, and a play status of the medium; and sending the dynamic handover information to a first server, so that it is convenient for the first server to perform user experience statistics. The terminal device comprises an acquisition module and a sending module. The system comprises the terminal device according to an embodiment of the present invention and a server. Through the method, the terminal device, and the system of the present invention, the dynamic handover information reflecting dynamic adaptation is acquired and reported, so that a service/network provider can evaluate media experience of a terminal user more comprehensively and adopt pertinence measures to optimize media playing, thereby further improving the media experience of the terminal user.
