PURPOSE: A Braille block for a visually handicapped person is provided to enable a visually handicapped person to easily recognize the position of the Braille block. CONSTITUTION: A Braille block(10) for a visually handicapped person comprises a block case(11), solar cell modules(12), a storage battery(13), light sources(14), a human body detection sensor(15), and a control unit(17). The block case has Braille protrusions(111) and an inner space. The solar cell modules are coupled to the block case and generate electricity using sunlight. The storage battery is coupled to the block case and stores the generated electricity. The light sources are coupled to the block case and are electrically connected to the storage battery to emit light to the outside. The human body sensor is coupled to the block case and senses a human body. The control unit powers the light sources by analyzing the sensed signal from the human body detection sensor. |
