A locking pin is formed of two sheet like components, the edge of one 34 being secured perpendicularly against the planar face of the other 28 to reinforce it. The reinforcing component 34 includes a hook formation extending around the end of the planar component into its plane. Both sheets have generally constant width. The ends of both sheets preferably include a rounded tapered so that the pins entire tip is has a rounded taper but a flat end. The components ideally engage by tabs on the reinforcing sheet extending into slots on the planar sheet and secure to the far side of the planar sheet. The planar component and/or the reinforcing component may be made of two layers, in this case the tabs of each layer could be staggered. |
