CONCRETE COMPOUND USING GRANULATED SLAG-WATER COOLED AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A concrete composition using granulated blast furnace slag and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to recycle quenched blast furnace slag as a part of aggregate. CONSTITUTION: A concrete composition using granulated blast furnace slag comprises cement, fine aggregate and thick aggregate. The fine aggregate includes 30-50 wt% of the quenched blast furnace slag. A manufacturing method of concrete composition using the quenched blast furnace slag comprises the following steps: crushing the quenched blast furnace slag; composing by breaking the needle crystal of the quenched blast furnace slag; sorting the quenched blast furnace slag by particle size; obtaining fine aggregate which includes the selected quenched blast furnace slag; and mixing cement and coarse aggregate with the fine aggregate.
