PURPOSE: A multi tap for blocking standby power and leakage currents is provided to detect only resistant leakage currents early and notify a user of the detected resistant leakage currents. CONSTITUTION: A hall sensor of a standby power sensing unit senses standby power leaked from a connected plug. An image converter of a leakage current detecting unit(70) senses leakage currents leaked from the connected plug. A blocking unit blocks power from being supplied to a connection terminal if the standby power or the amount of the leakage currents is larger than each reference value.
