PURPOSE: A depth measuring device using an opposite camera and a device thereof are provided to inexpensively and accurately calculate a depth value of an image without space limits. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(210) receives first and second images. A basic camera photographs the shape of one side of a subject to generate the first image. An opposite camera photographs the shape of the other side of the subject to generate the second image. A conversion unit(220) obtains a first silhouette corresponding to the shape of one side of the subject shown on the first image by using a second silhouette corresponding to the shape of the other side of the subject shown on the second image. A calculation unit(230) calculates a depth value of the subject by comparing the sizes of the first and second silhouettes.
