<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appliance control device and an appliance control method that make release control operation simple when a batch control mode is completed in the case that operation control is executed in a batch over different types of network home appliances. <P>SOLUTION: An appliance control device includes: a control unit for controlling operation of an appliance based on a mode control file describing control contents for each appliance for each control mode; and a storage unit for storing a state before control of the appliance, before control of operation of the appliance is started based on the mode control file by the control unit. The storage unit stores an individual pattern control file describing correspondence of the operation condition of each appliance to contents of release control of operation of the appliance based on the mode control file, and the control unit executes release control based on the individual pattern control file if there is an item of the corresponding operation condition of each appliance in the individual pattern control file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
