<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by evacuating an overload preventing member from a recording sheet without using an exclusive driving source. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet feeder includes a loading surface 221 on which a plurality recording sheets (sheets P) can be loaded, a supply roller 110 configured to feed recording sheets loaded on the loading surface 221, an overload prevention member 300 having a restriction surface 301 displaceable to the first position restricting a loading number of the recording sheets and the second position spaced apart from the loading surface 221 more than the first position, and a displacement member 400 displaceable from the third position to the fourth position by being pressed by the distal end of the recording sheets when introducing the recording sheets. The displacement member 400 and the overload prevention member 300 are configured to interlock each other such that, when the displacement member 400 is in the third position, the restriction surface 301 is in the first position, and when the displacement member 400 is in the fourth position, the restriction surface 301 is in the second position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
