<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image adjustment method in a multi-picture display device for attaining low power consumption by performing luminance adjustment of the whole picture by the respective APLs of a plurality of pictures. <P>SOLUTION: Image data and average luminance level information in the image data are received from the respective pieces of external equipment, scaling is performed to the received image data to be stored by performing picture arrangement, the received average luminance level information is stored, luminance levels of all pictures to be displayed by the multi-picture display device are adjusted based on comparison of all the pieces of received image data with all the pieces of average luminance level information, and a plurality of pieces of stored image data are displayed at the adjusted luminance levels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
