<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely acquire operation current data corresponding to an actual use state even if operation different from imaging operation is performed while the operation current data used when the number of pieces of data which can be imaged is calculated. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging system includes: an imaging device imaging a subject image; and a battery which can be attached/detached to/from the imaging device. The system also includes: current measuring means measuring a current supplied from the battery to the imaging device and acquiring the operation current data when the imaging device performs the imaging operation; battery residual amount detecting means detecting a residual amount of the battery; and control means controlling the current measuring means in such a way that it stops measurement of the current supplied from the battery to the imaging device and stops or interrupts operation for acquiring the operation current data when a condition that the imaging device performs the operation different from the imaging operation occurs in a prescribed period. The number of pieces of data which can be imaged is calculated based on the acquired operation current data, the number of imaged data during the period and the detected residual amount of the battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
