The freewheel (16) has an outer ring (22) for introducing a starting torque of the starter, and an inner ring (34) for discharging the starting torque to a drive shaft (12). The clamp portions are arranged between the outer ring and inner ring in circumferential direction. A movable cage is provided for tilting the clamp portion relative to the outer ring. A compression spring for providing radially outwardly directed compressive force on the clamping portion against the outer ring is provided in the radially outward closed groove of clamping portion. An independent claim is included for initiator arrangement.
