<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing a glass layer where the breakage of glass members is prevented and where the glass members can be efficiently welded mutually. <P>SOLUTION: The method for fixing the glass layer includes: a step of arranging the glass layer 3, that contains glass frits 2 and a laser light absorbing pigment, between the glass members 4 along a predetermined welding region; and a step of melting the glass frits 2 by irradiating a laser beam L1 along the predetermined welding region R to fix the glass layer 3 to the glass members 4, and enhancing the laser beam absorptivity in the glass layer 3 by the melting of the glass frits 2, compared to that before the laser beam L1 is irradiated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
