<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer composition which has more improved resoiling prevention power compared with the conventional one when being used for detergent application, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing a polymer composition, monomers essentially consisting of a (meth)acrylic acid monomer and a dicarboxylic acid monomer are polymerized in the presence of a compound having a polyalkylene glycol structure. The amount of water on the start of the polymerization is 0 to 120 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the using amount of the compound having a polyalkylene glycol structure, the amount of the dicarboxylic acid monomer on the start of the polymerization is 30 to 800 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the using amount of the compound having a polyalkylene glycol structure, and the amount of water included in a reaction solution on the completion of the addition of the (meth)acrylic acid monomer is 100 to 100,000 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the using amount of the compound having a polyalkylene glycol structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
