摘要 <p>A multi-core fiber (3) has a plurality of cores (11) arranged therein at a prescribed interval from one another, and is a fiber having a clad (13) covering the periphery thereof. A bundle structure (5) has optical fiber cores (7) joined in a densely packed arrangement. In other words, one optical fiber core (7) is positioned in the center, and six optical fiber cores (7) are arranged around the periphery thereof. Therefore, the intervals between the cores (15) of the optical fiber cores (7) are all the same interval. The optical fiber cores (7) are adhered to one another using an adhesive (19a). Hence, the clads (17) of adjacent optical fiber cores (7) are all in contact with one another directly or via the adhesive (19a). Gaps between optical fiber cores (7) are filled with the adhesive (19a).</p>
