The adhesive tape comprises a carrier (11) having a top side and a bottom side, where the carrier has a width of 40-130 mm based on a transverse direction and a basis weight of 60-150 g/m 2>. Adhesive strips (10) made from a reactive heat-activatable adhesive are provided at a longitudinal edge of the carrier. The adhesive strip has a width of 10-30 mm and a thickness of 60-140 mu m. The adhesive strip is: arranged on the top and bottom sides of the carrier; and arranged at the longitudinal edge lying opposite to them.
