PURPOSE: A sweetener composition and a producing method thereof are provided to reduce the sour, bitter, and unpleasant taste of medical herb medicines. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a sweetener composition comprises the following steps: mixing 7-15wt% of trahalose, 35-60wt% of fructo-oligosaccharide, 0.5-12wt% of D-sorbitol, 5-15wt% of D-maltitol, 0.5-1.2wt% of xylitol, and 0.5-1.2wt% of acesulfame-k; and adding the balance of purified water into the mixture for stirring and dissolving. The sweetener composition is inserted to the herbal decoction obtained by medical herbs and water.
