<p>PURPOSE: A frequency sub channel allocation method in a uplink SC-FDMA(Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access) and apparatus thereof are provided to solve a problem which a user receives a plurality of frequency sub channels by preventing the congestion of channels. CONSTITUTION: A base station selects a first terminal and a first sub channel which are able to obtain a maximum transmission rate gain(S400). The base station selects a terminal which includes the maximum transmission rate gain of second terminals as a replacement terminal(S410). A first terminal allocation transmission rate gain and a single frequency sub channel are compared with a replacement terminal allocation transmission gain when a first frequency sub channel is allocated to the terminal. The first frequency sub channel is allocated to a first terminal or the replace terminal according to a comparison result(S430).
