<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate vertical line correction technology for obtaining high image quality. <P>SOLUTION: A signal only in a vertical OB line in output signals of a solid-state imaging element 101 quantized in an A/D converter 103 is selected by an OB line selector 105 and is stored in a line memory 106. A level adjuster 107 level-adjusts a past vertical OB line signal which is read from the line memory 106 in the period of the first vertical OB line in a frame where an amplification rate of an amplifier 102 changes and outputs it via a selector A 108. A subtractor 109 subtracts the signal which is level-adjusted from the present vertical OB line signal. A multiplier 111 multiplies the subtracted signal by a cyclic coefficient K<SB POS="POST">1H</SB>for the period of the first vertical OB line of the frame where the amplification rate changes via a selector B 111. A subtractor 112 subtracts a multiplication result from the present vertical OB line signal and rewrites a subtraction result on the line memory 106 so as to perform a cyclic operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
